Join us Ireland's highest peak on Carrauntoohil. Our group will plant an On the move flag at the highest point in Ireland at 1039m to show the world that we are committed to ending homelessness.

The Carrauntoohil trail is a strenuous 6–7 hour (11km) route via the Devil’s Ladder on the MacGillycuddys Reeks Mountains, Co. Kerry in the southwest of Ireland. The starting point for this route is Cronin’s Yard. From here, it goes after a river crossing through the extensive Hag’s Glen valley. The trail runs between two picturesque lakes and eventually takes you to the climb of Devil’s Ladder.

The steep ascent is rewarded with stunning panoramic views from the summit. This is the most popular way to the top and ideal for the less experienced hiker, although it still requires a good level of fitness gained from a daily active life or regular exercise. On the day of your climb, you will be led by qualified and highly experienced mountain guides from Kerry Climbing.

This challenge is open to people aged 16+. Please note that participants aged 16-18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
